I think I'm able to make friends easily which makes the car business fun for me. I have a helpful personality and I'm very easy to get along with. That's probably why people refer their friends to me. I refuse to be like a regular car sales person. I'm honest and don't pressure my customers. I'm an artist at heart and love to create. I've been in the automotive business since High School. I handle the parts at the store. It's the people that I like. I've had those jobs where I dreaded Monday mornings. There were times I had to force myself to go inside. At Mike Shaw Kia it's not that way for me. We've got a great team here and always help each other. When I'm not at work it's frisbee golf for me unless I have a mustang to work on.

I've been a Technician for 15 years now. I can't find a better place to work. Coming to work is fun. This is a great group to work with. We are more like a family than co-workers. I push myself to always do my best and take good care of my customer's cars everytime. That's why I have the reputation that I do. If I'm not on the water fishing I'm with my kids and their sports.

I was born and raised in Texas and served our country in the Army. I continued to serve our state as a Police Officer in Lufkin and Longview. In January of '05 I entered the car world. I'm a very personable person and love the fit for me here at Mike Shaw Kia. I continue to serve people, just in a different capacity. From top to bottom we communicate very well here because of such a strong bond between us. I appreciate the structure of the company and the care shown by top management. When not at work my wife and I just do whatever comes to mind.

I've been a Technician for 28 years and with Mike Shaw for 23 years. I enjoy reconditioning the used cars. It fits me well because of all my experience. We work hard but we get along great. The best thing about the store for me is the people. We are just beginning our expansion and that's going to be great for us and for our customers. In a word; Exciting! I'm a family man so when I'm away from the store I'm with my wife and kids.

I served our country as a Marine across the sea. Maybe that's where I learned to be so protective of my people. I'm quick to step in and help wherever it's needed. I set the tone for our sales department which is one of determined perfection in helping our customers. Our buildings need some work and we are beginning renovations and expansions, but trust me my people are not second rate.I lead my team by the example I set of continuous improvement everyday.

I used to do a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but since I found my crew here at Mike Shaw Kia I be shufflin' errey day... you might find me chillin' in a Soul listening to Sirius radio or in our service department eating a ton of Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. On the weekends I enjoy skate boarding with my peeps or jammin' out on my air guitar.
