The 2016 Kia Soul is available with two different engines. First, there’s a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers 130 horsepower and 118 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with the base trim level and is paired with the standard six-speed manual transmission. However, a six-speed automatic transmission is optional. The Plus and Exclaim trims provide a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that generates 164 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque.
