The 2019 Kia Forte is available in four unique trim levels: FE, LXS, S, and EX. When it comes to engine options, each trim comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission for the FE. The other trims, however, come with a continuously variable automatic transmission.

The FE provides a four-speaker audio system, 15-inch steel wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, auxiliary audio jacks, rear air vents, and forward collision warning.

The LXS gains a 60/40-split folding rear seat for extra space, 16-inch alloy wheels, and selectable drive modes.

The S gets you fog lights, LED daytime running lights, a six-speaker audio system, 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, satellite radio, a rear-seat armrest, and more.

The top trim, the EX, offers lane change assist, keyless trunk opener, rear cross-traffic alert, keyless entry, windshield wiper de-icer, blind-spot monitoring, heated and ventilated front seats, push-button ignition, two extra USB ports, simulated-leather upholstery, and heated side mirrors.

The 2019 Hyundai Elantra

The 2019 Hyundai Elantra comes in six separate trims: SE, SEL, Value Edition, Eco, Limited, and Sport. As far as the engine of the Elantra is concerned, all trims except for the Eco receive a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. While the SE comes with a six-speed manual transmission, the other trims can be equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Eco comes with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder that produces 128 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The base SE comes with a six-speaker sound system, a USB port, air conditioning, a 5-inch display, front disc and rear drum brakes, a rearview camera, 15-inch steel wheels, and power mirrors.

The SEL offers a drowsy driver alert system, heated side mirrors, rear cross-traffic alert, 16-inch alloy wheels, Android Auto, rear disc brakes, automatic headlights, Apple CarPlay, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, satellite radio, lane departure warning, a 7-inch touchscreen, and lane keeping assist.

The Value Edition gains a hands-free trunk release, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, LED daytime running lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, Hyundai’s Blue Link Connected Car system, a sunroof, and more.

The Eco gets you dual USB ports and 15-inch alloy wheels.

The Limited provides automatic high beams, a sliding armrest, leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, an eight-speaker Infinity premium audio system, LED headlights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The top trim, the Sport, offers a unique gauge cluster, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, front sport seats, stronger brakes, and a black headliner.
