When driving around Corpus Christi, you can’t miss Blackbeard’s. They are located in a bright purple building just across the bridge. Blackbeard’s takes pride in being one of the oldest structures still standing on North Beach. Blackbeard’s has gone through several hurricanes and since they were established, but they always come back stronger, serving the local community better than ever.

The Atmosphere

When walking into Blackbeard’s you may notice a lot of random collectibles on the walls and ceilings. The previous owner, Steve Bonillas, was a collector of all things. He was more specifically a lover of rock and roll Music. He then began collecting memorabilia before he died in 2012. Some have dubbed Blackbeard’s a mini rock ‘n roll museum, so feel free to check out their collection while your meal is being prepared.

The Community

Blackbeard’s takes pride in being so involved in the community and having a good mix of regular and local customers and tourists.  Over their 25 years of business, they have gotten the opportunity to watch families change, with kids growing up and returning with their own children so they, too, can experience this fun-filled restaurant while partaking in its excellent food.
