To this day, the museum relies solely on donations, grants, admissions, store sales, and special events to keep it running and educating those who visit. Surprisingly, these revenues have obviously not only kept the museum up and running for quite some time now but they have been able to fund several upgrades and improvements that have been done to the museum! The USS Lexington Museum has been around for a long time now, and it would not be around if it weren’t for the local community of Corpus Christi. The museum’s main goal going forward is to continue to allow this piece of history to flourish and impact others greatly.
