Get Brunch At Andy’s Country Kitchen

Agie Dominguez is a real success story. She moved to the United States back in 1977, met the love of her life, got married, and became a waitress at Andy’s Country Kitchen in 1986. For more than 20 years, she was one of the beloved servers at the restaurant, and eventually bought the place in 2008. Agie’s been the heart and soul of Andy’s for a long time, and she’s kept building on the restaurant’s reputation for great cooking and stellar service. It’s a great place for breakfast, lunch, or even brunch.
Home Cookin’
Andy’s Country Kitchen is the kind of place loved by both longtime locals and newcomers to Corpus Christi. Bring your appetite, too, because Andy’s Country Breakfast — that’s two eggs, two sausage links, two strips of bacon, hash browns, a biscuit and gravy, and three small pancakes — is made to satisfy big eaters. And if you’re in the mood for something lighter, there’s always eggs Benedict or a short stack of fluffy, delicious pancakes to enjoy. The country-fried steak and eggs is fantastic, but we’d like to encourage you to look a little farther down the menu to find the Huevos a la Mexicana. Enjoy two eggs with fresh serrano peppers, onions, and tomatoes — the colors of the Mexican flag — for a breakfast that’ll really put a spark in your morning.
Lunch Specials
If you ask Agie, every lunch at Andy’s is special. But every day that Andy’s is open — and that’s Monday – Sunday from 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. — there are great specials on the menu. Drop by Monday for chicken pot pie that’ll satisfy your cravings for a savory, filling treat that’ll ensure you leave with a smile on your face. Friday’s a difficult day for us to choose: the meatloaf sandwich is top-notch, while the pork roast and dressing special is flat-out wonderful. And we haven’t even talked about the steaks, chops, and chicken available every day at Andy’s Country Kitchen.
