Doc’s Legacy

Doc’s Seafood & Steak Restaurant was established in fall 2004 by an island resident, Bill Blankenship. Bill was commonly known as “Doc”  on the island by many people. One of Doc’s favorite things to do was be on the water and watch people having the time of their lives with their families. Doc didn’t just bring about this restaurant that has become the main hub of so many family memories, he served in the military, fought in four wars, earned three medical degrees, and was the highest decorated doctor in the Navy. Doc’s Seafood and Steaks is not just any place to dine it holds a beautiful family legacy!
