Enjoy A Meal On The Water At Doc’s

Here in Corpus Christi, we have easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and its delicious seafood offerings. If you’re in the mood for something fresh from the sea, head to Padre Island for a meal at Doc’s Seafood & Steaks!

Starters

Doc’s offers a selection of plates to pique your appetite, with tasty fried fare from land and sea. Appetizers include the calamari and rings hushpuppies, and both options come with remoulade for dipping. Other starter options include Cajun fries loaded with crawfish, cheese, herbs, and bacon as well. You could also enjoy the unique texture and flavor of oysters on the half shell, or start simple with chips and salsa.

Doc’s Seafood

Nothing stirs up a craving for seafood more than being right there on the coast, and at this Padre Island restaurant, you can count on the kitchen for delicious fish and other offerings. The crab stuffed flounder comes broiled and loaded with a house crab stuffing as well as a piquant poblano crawfish cream sauce. Yellowfin tuna can come grilled or blackened for tacos, while the jumbo bacon-wrapped shrimp features cilantro lime cream cheese. Don’t forget to ask about their catch of the day, too.

From the Land

There’s more to Doc’s menu than fresh-caught fare, as they also serve up a selection of burgers, poultry, and steaks. If you want something hand-held, check out the Buffalo chicken sandwich or Fiesta burger with queso, pico de gallo, bacon, and avocado Baja sauce. Crispy chicken-fried chicken is coated with country pepper gravy, while the Fiesta chicken features applewood smoked bacon, queso, pico, and Baja sauce. If you’re craving steak, the Chef’s Choice hand-cut steak is sure to satisfy.

Events at the Waterline

If you have a special occasion coming up, you can book Doc’s first-floor venue for your private event. Underneath the restaurant, the Waterline provides space for more than 500 people to enjoy Doc’s delicious catering with a view of the boats going by. The open-air space is fit for a wide range of events, from birthdays to business meetings.
